The Rocky Mountains are home to many Aspen groves of clonal colonies. These colonies have a root system that allows them to spread and regenerate. Although the trees themselves grow and die within a normal range, the root system can be very old, one large colony in Utah is estimated to be 80,000 years old. Anyone who has spent time in a large aspen grove can attest to the mystical feelings that come over you when you are in their presence. In this Triptych, John captures the color and beauty of an Aspen grove in the fall. His unusual perspective gives the work a powerful three-dimensional aspect. Bring the magic of an Aspen grove into your home with this beautiful wall art.
Depth + Design: Metal box art pieces are unique as they truly are a box. The sides are folded adding three inches of depth, which raises the piece off the wall by 3 inches. Additionally, the design wraps on all sides making it 3-D.
Material: Using aluminum material, these boxes are extremely lightweight and can be hung with one small nail. We also included a crossbar with a notch that is perfectly centered, taking the guesswork out of centering your piece.
Size: Each panel measures 21 in wide x 42 in tall x 3 in deep. We recommend spacing each panel 2 inches apart.
Display: Box Art can be displayed indoors or outdoors as our materials (ink & aluminum) are weather-resistant.
