John’s formal training was in the traditional chemical process photography that preceded the digital age. As a result, his work is infused with elements of both. In this magnificent triptych of Sinopah Mountain in the Two Medicine area of Glacier National Park, he captures a moment when the light is highlighting the naturally occurring colors of the mountain and at the same time, the stillness of the lake creates a mirror image of the mountain, the effect is mesmerizing!
