In recognition of her distinctive approach to art, Shelle was honored as a Montana Treasured Artist in 2013. Furthering her impact in the art community, Shelle was chosen as an Artist in Residence at Gonzaga University School of Law in Spokane, WA.

A serendipitous journey into furniture painting led to the discovery of her distinctive voice in the art world.
