Choosing a Wood vs. Metal Sign

Which do I choose?
Laura and Loyd Meissenburg - - Meissenburg Designs

While metal signs tend to be trendier or "kitschy", wood signs are more traditional. Some designs lend themselves to one or the other depending on the image and the message. For example, bar signs or water-ski signs may make more sense on metal, while hunting or fishing signs may seem better in wood. Metal can often times seem "brighter" while colors on wood appear softer. We sell more wood than metal, but don't let that influence you! Personal preference is varied. Use your own judgement!

We use fade resistant pigments on all our signs. Both metal or wood can be displayed out-of-doors. However, when purchasing signs solely for outdoor use, we recommend metal signs. Both will add charm and whimsy to your home!

We stand behind our product. If for any reason, you are unhappy with your purchase, let us know. We will make every effort to remedy the situation and replace your sign if necessary. Please check and recheck the spelling of your personalization. We happily replace signs we've misspelled or misunderstood. If you change our verbiage, you are responsible for providing us with the correct spelling of your town, lake or name.
